Pretty cool. Where you used the polygons to erase is that just to keep the lines straight? Can this also be done with the eraser tool or would that cause jagged edges?
This is different than other methods I’ve seen. I’m going to try this in gimp soon and see how it comes out.

The main reason I used the polygon tool to erase is because it’s the quickest way to do it.
You can definitely do it with just the eraser tool, but you will most likely not get a straight erase, plus it will take you twice as long.
